Off day. A group went curling at the Victoria Curling Club while others skated at the outdoor rinks and walked around old town Quebec City.
The players enjoyed a pre-game meal together before their matchup against the San Diego Oilers at Centre Videotron. An empty net goal with under ten seconds left to play sealed the victory for the Oilers and the team lost a barn burner 3-1 in a great back and forth game. The families stayed in the arena afterwards to watch the speed and skill of the QMJHL Quebec Remparts as they took on the Voltigeurs from Drummondville. Our very own Jonathan Marchessault is a former Rempart and legend, playing for the team from 07-11.
