The 15U TI team traveled to Denver this weekend to compete in the 200X85 CCM Denver tournament.  The team captured the championship title by defeating the San Joe Jr. Sharks in a rematch from the round-robin play, defeating their opponents by a final score of 2-1. Head Coach Wally Lacroix summarized the weekend by stating, “perseverance through team play led us to victory, against an opponent who quite honestly has had our number the past couple of seasons.  The young men were challenged into playing a type of game they weren’t used to and responded quite well.  Definitely a group effort, not a one man show”.
