The Vegas Jr. Golden Knights 8U teams had a great weekend of half-ice games competing against the Empire Hockey Club (San Dimas, CA), Utah Dawgs (West Jordan, UT) and the Ogden Jr. Mustangs (Kaysville, UT).   After defeating all opponents, both the 8U Gray and 8U White teams faced off against each other in the Championship game. Forgoing a formal final matchup between players within the same club, the game was played as an inter-squad scrimmage with championship awards earned and shared by all.  

Coach Andrew Stewart recapped the weekend by stating, “It was really impressive to see how well both teams performed with passing the puck and sharing in the overall success. Everyone contributed to scoring and setting up goals as well defending our own zone.”   He continued, “having Cruze (Edgington), Carter (Adams), Aiden (Wetherby) and Zach (Wickson) all present during each practice, this team has an abundance of knowledgeable coaches collaborating on different skillsets during each practice, the results are starting to show during gameplay.”
